Since 1956, the Victoria Carter London Dance Centre continues to offer classes in Classical Ballet, the Vaganova Russian method, as well as Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary Dance, Hip Hop, Endurance & Dance Gymnastics.
Students at a senior level will also be offered Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) examinations. These classes encourage the development of balance, grace and agility. Yearly examinations are offered at all levels.
This class is geared towards older teens/adults students who are beginners. Students will progress through all the fundamentals of ballet once a week and progress in areas of strength, flexibility, allegro, pirouettes, adage, etc.
No previous dance experience required
Dancers are introduced to the fundamentals of ballet while working on improving alignment, strength, and flexibility. Classes run all dance year for 45 minutes a week, with a year-end recital routine.
A great class for any student aged 6 and up. Classes are offered from Primary, to Cecchetti I – V, Intermediate, Advanced, Pre-Pointe to Advanced Pointe.
