Grade 2 Ballet (RAD) classes are offered by Zayna Dance Academy. Our goal is to give each individual dancer the tools they need to take dance as far as they dream to take it.
Ballet is the discipline and core subject to all dance styles. It teaches posture, poise, grace and musicality through its classical style.
Our Primary Ballet classes are for boys and girls with the experience in ballet from age 7 or 8 years, and for 9 year old beginners.
This class draws on the ISTD syllabus in Ballet, introducing these exercises, concepts and techniques in a basic and fun way. Children will learn to be musically aware and disciplined in their dance technique.
Ballet is the foundation for all aspects of dance. It provides the dancer with the building blocks: poise, stamina, technique, interpretation, co-ordination, energy and grace to perform all other styles of dance.
