About the Session
This course consists of two sessions of 3hrs on the weekend, based on instructor and participant's availability. Anyone who wants to have fun making great coffee.
We are a small specialty coffee roaster and bakery in the city of Falls Church, Virginia. Our name “Rare Bird Coffee Roasters” is based on the idea of celebrating the differences in both coffee and people. We created our shop to be a comfortable place to share our passion for high-quality coffee and food with friends, neighbors, and everyone who visits.
Our approach towards coffee is one of quality and preservation. Everything we do, from sourcing coffee to roasting, is in pursuit of maintaining these goals. We procure all of our coffee from small importers, who share these same values. We then roast to a degree that preserves the unique character and flavors each coffee has to offer.
You will learn secret science in milk in the Latte Art Class and how it affects foam’s quality to get world-class level latte art. You will learn how to steam the milk, pitcher grip and pour basic heart, tulip, rosetta, and more.
That way we can promote our partner's outstanding skills at the origin so that your coffee gets better every year.
Training is included with the purchase of commercial espresso equipment.
