If you’re someone who has a slack work ethic, is scared of competition, quits easily, or doesn’t want to be earning good money whilst working fewer hours, then are courses and industry is not for you.
In-Person Courses
Not only do we teach you the skill of the course you’re partaking, but we’ll also teach you how to start up and operate a business from home or a salon. We’ll show you how to keep track of bookings, how to take great photographs of your work, how to grow a social media following, and how to market your business online.
In-person training, allows us to build a personal & professional relationship, for us to watch your grow and help mentor you, throughout your next exciting chapter.
Flirty Lashes was established in November 2016. At the time I was 19 years old and was working full time in an accounts & payroll position. I started lashing whilst my now Husband & I were building our first home, to make some extra money as a side hustle.
However, early into 2017, I got fired from my full-time job, due to my ‘attitude‘. (aka: I didn’t let the boss walk over me. But I think mostly, it was because I was winning the footy tips ).
At the time, I had also been trying for baby #1 for a while. So, I decided to take a risk & stay solely self-employed, allowing me to focus on my health and growing my new business. Fast forward nearly 7 years, I’m 27, I have 3 little girls, Tilly (5), Ocean (2), & Zali (2), and have created my own beauty empire, making over $25,000 worth of sales each month.
Becoming a Lash & Brow Artist and my own boss was definitely one of my best decisions. I’ve built a business that earns 6 figures as well as launched my own brand of lash & brow supplies and our Sunshine Coast Lash & Beauty Training Academy.
My Beauty Career has changed my life inside, & outside of ”work’. Not only has it allowed me to absolutely LOVE being at work. It’s also allowed me to become financially stable, even with being flexible in the hours I chose to work, so that I can be there for all the special family moments.
It’s even more amazing that my Husband, Josh, has been able to spend the past 3.5 years, being a full-time stay-at-home Dad. I definitely couldn’t have done any of this, without his trust and support. I still think it’s crazy how I got here.
Afterall it was only meant to be a side hustle, to help get us by… I actually left school thinking I wanted to get into the police force. But here I am, so grateful this path chose me. I seriously love every minute, doing what I do. I feel like I’m booked back-to-back with friend catch up dates. Just ditch the coffee (for them) and add fresh lashes & brows
