Intended Audience
The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment (RQF) is ideal as an introduction to risk assessment for anyone in a work environment. While employees might not undertake risk assessments themselves, this qualification will make them more risk-aware and improve their understanding of risk assessments.
Overview
During this 1 day qualification, learners will gain a basic introduction into the principles of risk assessment. Topics covered include: main causes of work-related fatalities, basic processes for undertaking a risk assessment, key terms associated with risk assessments, methods that can be used to prioritise risks and more. Please note this qualification does not include writing and conducting risk assessment practice sessions. Those who will be responsible for conducting risk assessments should undertake the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment (RQF). Certification
Successful learners will receive a personalised Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment (RQF) e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to a Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions.
