New gymnasts are offered a trial session where our experienced coaches will assess their ability and place them in the appropriate class for their progression.
Kestrel Gymnastics Group was formed in June 1983, having had a long and successful history and producing many top gymnasts. We also have an active display team which takes part in many Gymnastic Festivals throughout the year both locally and nationally.
Our Adult class is the perfect way to recapture your youth! These fully structured classes help develop strength and flexibility using gymnastics skills and movements. Suitable for all, from complete beginners to more experienced gymnasts.
Gymnastic Dance combines the two genres to work on strength, stamina, flexibility and performance skills. Students learn exam sequences as well as working on routines where they get to play and use ribbons!
The format of our classes will be slightly different to keep in line with COVID-19 guidance given to us by the Government, World Health Organisation, Leeds City Council and British Gymnastics.
Classes are split by school year, so friends are together and learning with their own age group. Everyone is encouraged to stretch their skills on different apparatus. From the tumble track to bars and beams, all gymnasts learn at their own speed.
FunGym is designed to help children learn specific skills to enhance confidence, balance, co-ordination and motor skills. Our flexible program allows children to choose from 1-4 hours per week. FunGym places emphasis on fitness, activity, involvement and of course FUN
