NDA is 100% Tasmanian owned and managed. It was established as NDA Computing by Nigel Davies in 1985. Karina Stojansek joined the team in 1996 and NDA expanded its range of services to include business skills training and later became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Group Training Organisation (GTO).
Karina purchased NDA in 2019 after Nigel retired to a life of bike riding and wine making with his wife Helen, leaving a valuable legacy to Tasmanian business. NDA now has centres in Hobart, Launceston and Ulverstone and employs 14 permanent staff and several contract trainers.
In this fast-paced workplace diversity workshop, participants will learn about the impact of diversity in the organisation and build an inclusive mindset.
When change in the workplace is ineffectively managed, it can lead to employees feeling overwhelmed and at an increased risk of psychological distress.
It should not need to be said, but the most valuable resource any company has is its employees, not the raw products it makes, not their finished goods, nor even their revenue. All of these are valuable, but they pale in comparison to the value of a single good worker.
This course explores the significance of culture in the modern workplace, where diverse perspectives and backgrounds intersect, and provides insights into effectively navigating and leveraging cultural differences to enhance collaboration, innovation, and success.
It is recommended that participants have basic experience with the underlying operating system, i.e. an ability to navigate the environment using a mouse and keyboard plus an understanding of computer file storage. It is recommended that they have completed Xero – Essentials and Beyond training.
