This course introduces students to a multi-module accounting software program designed for small to medium-size businesses. Students will use the software and their knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to create and maintain accounting records, including period end procedures and the creation of financial statements for sole proprietorships. Sage 50 Accounting course is offered by Surrey Community College ?for all skill level. Surrey Community College offers job-related courses. Accounting Principles, QuickBooks, Sage 50 accounting, and Payroll courses and certificates. Most courses are completed in a week, part-time.
Computerized Accounting with Sage 50 course is offered by Eastern Academy for all skill level. At Eastern Academy, we help students understand the global economy by giving them a fundamental grasp of bookkeeping, computerized accounting using Sage and Quickbooks.
This program does not require approval under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. Individuals who are pursuing a career involving bookkeeping or accounting will be introduced to and learn how to use this popular accounting software program.
