We offer music classes, choir, and keyboard for students over 7, as well as the opportunity to participate in a number of ensembles and orchestras. We also offer music awareness classes for 5 – 6 year-olds.
Classes are held in the East Block of Southland Girls' High School, Tweed Street, Invercargill.

Learning an instrument is the brains equivalent of a full body work out. The earlier you start the bigger the benefits. These include increased memory, problem solving and literacy.
Most students start learning on the alto saxophone which is the most versatile and has the largest repertoire, but CSM also offers soprano, tenor and baritone saxophones for hire.
Saxophone lessons are offered by Frank's Music School. In his own teaching, Frankās focus is on CCM Voice Coaching (Contemporary Commercial Music); Contemporary Guitar/Bass Tutoring & Pop, Rock and Jazz Band Training.
