Our classes have a limited number of participants which guarantees a better contact with the teacher and a personalized instruction.
The Coopérative des professeurs de musique is a non-profit music school founded in 2009. Through its musical training activities, the Coopérative promotes the meeting between professional artists and the population.
Since 2015, the Coopérative moved to beautiful, soundproof premises designed specifically for the music teaching. This 3000 square foot space is located under the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church in Montreal at 4220 Drolet Street.
We bring together 80 active musicians on the Quebec music scene, and dedicated to the transmission of their art. Our teachers are members of several major musical ensembles and are called to perform abroad.

Whether a student is interested in a relaxed, fun approach to lessons and just wants to learn how to play their favourite music, or if they want to take a more serious, syllabus based approach.
Our private saxophone lessons and clarinet lessons start from age 8 onwards.
In-person & virtual music classes, lessons & ensembles for ALL ages, abilities and aspirations happen here, at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music.
