We offer full-time courses for school leavers including A Levels and vocational qualifications, full-time Access to Higher Education courses, part-time adult professional development, entry level and recreational courses as well as full and part-time degree level study.
Our one-month intermediate course is aimed at anyone wanting to take their woodworking skills to a whole new level. It’s not intended as a pathway into professional woodworking, but will give you the skills and confidence to flourish in your woodworking hobby.
We also offer bespoke furniture, woodworking and design courses for both groups and individuals. A bespoke course enables students to select their own content and duration.
Diploma in Wood Occupations is offered by TAM Training for all skill level. You’ll do more than just study in a classroom. We’ll use real life work situations, case studies and practice tests to make sure you can apply your new knowledge to the work environment.
An introduction to the skills, materials and tools of furniture making, this course is great for beginners or as a refresher.
You will complete a minimum of 30 hours of on-the-job experience within the industry and have the opportunity to work on many live projects in the community.
