The Spanish Club of Winnipeg provides Spanish lessons from children’s class, adult beginners/level I class and a more advanced class.
Held every Saturday from 4 to 6 pm , classes run from the first Saturday after the September long weekend to about mid June with a break over Christmas, except for when there is a fiesta that day, e.g El dia de Hispanidad, and the Saturday before Easter Sunday there are no classes.
There is a children’s class, adult beginners/level I class and a more advanced class. You are also welcome to come and participate for a few sessions before committing.
The Spanish Club of Winnipeg is a member-based, not for profit organization that was founded in 1978. It serves its members by offering a variety of activities such as language and dance classes, as well as providing a place to gather and socialize for all members and their friends in a truly convivial atmosphere that celebrates the culture of Spain. We also serve as the first point of contact and as a frame of reference for many of the recent arrivals from Spain.
All our classes are focused in conversation. Fees include materials, the Hola Spanish Centre workbook as well as access to online audio and video practice materials.
Continuing Education, a school of the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), offers language courses for adults residing in Ontario at different levels in Spanish.
Our French and Spanish classes programs are available for kids, teens and adults desiring to acquire the language basics and to progressively move on to reach various proficiency levels, depending on their own needs, abilities, goals and learning pace.
This is an introductory course for students with little or no knowledge of Spanish.
The Level 1 Spanish course is open for all people wanting to acquire the basics of Spanish grammar as well as essential vocabulary and oral practice to communicate in everyday situations.
