Special Needs Jazz is a class especially formulated to welcome all children and young people with Special Needs, whether intellectual or physical.

This class has a minimum of two teachers (more if required) to ensure each student receives the necessary attention to ensure their experience is fulfilling. The combination of dance movement with music encourages independence and build confidence in their achievements.
SDA’s Performing Arts Qualifications, Affiliations and Registrations include Acrobatic Dance Association, Australasian Dance Australia, Australian Guild of Music Education, Australian Teachers of Dancing, British Ballet Organisation, Glenn Wood Tap and State Dance Association, we are also a member of Audance NSW and World Dance Alliance Asia Pacific.

Jazz dance is a combination of a variety of styles including ballet, modern dance, social and street dance, folk dance, and acrobatics and uses dance forms of different nations, most influentially, Africa.
During performance classes students learn new dance skills and then create dance routines with their group.
Jazz Dancing is experimental, free form and fluid. These classes are designed as an introduction to Jazz for adults. It is fusion, inventive, exuberant dancing.
Energetic, dynamic and heaps of fun, jazz classes provide an opportunity to dance to the latest music. Kicks, turns and jumps are a focus in these high energy classes.
