This class has a minimum of two teachers (more if required) to ensure each student receives the necessary attention to ensure their experience is fulfilling. The combination of dance movement with music encourages independence and build confidence in their achievements.
SDA’s Performing Arts Qualifications, Affiliations and Registrations include Acrobatic Dance Association, Australasian Dance Australia, Australian Guild of Music Education, Australian Teachers of Dancing, British Ballet Organisation, Glenn Wood Tap and State Dance Association, we are also a member of Audance NSW and World Dance Alliance Asia Pacific.

Jazz is a style reminiscent of some of the world’s greatest choreographers. Jazz at Geelong Ballet Centre combines the old with the new and celebrates all that this versatile style can offer. Students learn a mixture of lyrical, modern and music theatre.

The Jazz Ballet taught at our studio has a strong Hip Hop favour to it which is very popular with the young dancers of today.
Jazz is a strong, fast paced and dynamic form of dance that fuses technique and personal flair. The VPA style of jazz is current, engaging and entertaining.Â
