Course Details

This course can be adapted to suit a variety of audiences, from the complete novice to those who are skilled but feel their skills need updating.

Students range from coaches/trainers, club first aiders to club house staff.

Training normally takes place over four hours and includes the necessary theory followed by lots of practical “hands-on” practice to build confidence.

Courses content includes:

  • Health & Safety
  • Patient assessment
  • CPR
  • Unconscious patient
  • Spinal injuries
  • Fractures, Sprains and Strains
  • Wounds and Bleeding
  • Head injuries – concussion, fractures and compression
  • And more.

The training is in line with the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2005 and can be adapted to suit the client in respects to what age group they may be resuscitating/treating, be it, children or adults.
