To us, salads are the starting point of every meal. Work lunches, throw together midweek dinners, entertaining with family and friends. Whether you’re cooking for one, two, a family of four, or a whole crowd of people, there is no better sight than a table filled with big round platters layered up high with eye-catching colours, flavours and textures.
We encourage you to start your meals with plants first. For a lot of us before we walk out the door in the morning, we pull out the steak or chicken for dinner.
This resulting in vegetables being the last-minute side and a boring stir-fry being cooked day in, day out. You will change your perception of how to start a meal after this workshop.
This workshop is the perfect one if you catch yourself doing this all the time. They are all substantial enough to have on their own and last 3-5 days in the fridge so you can have it for lunch throughout the week.
This workshop will educate you on substituting + using what you have in the fridge, reducing food waste. You will spend less time in the kitchen. You will gain confidence around flavors and changing a recipe to suit you. You will leave inspired by how delicious, fun, and exciting vegetables can be.
Like many people, we’ve had our struggles. We’ve come through personal health issues like chronic fatigue, endometrosis, gut issues and battles with being an under-weight élite athlete.
Our mission is to inspire, motivate and educate you on the benefits of plant-based eating and creating a healthy, happy and sustainable lifestyle that you can maintain forever. Whether you’re gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, a huge meat-eater, pescatarian three days a week and vegetarian the other four days, we have something for you. All eaters are welcome!
Neither of us are vegan or vegetarian. Our goal is simply to change your mindset around how you start your meal. Most people start their meals with meat, and the vegetables are added on as a last-minute, boring side. We challenge you to take on our definition of plant-based. This means starting your meal with your plants, and then adding the meat, dairy, fish, poultry, tofu or tempeh on the side, if you choose.
With many of us choosing to eat lighter, healthier and more digestible food we are now offering a seasonal salads class which will give you loads of ideas for a great variety of salads to see you throughout the year.

With all the rain, strong wind and cold temperatures, it’s hard to believe that spring has arrived this year, but if there is one thing that reassures us that it is actually spring, it’s asparagus.
