West Side Music Academy joined the West Seattle community in 1998 , when owners, Chris and Cami MacDonald, began teaching lessons from their home on SW Dakota Street. Today WSMA boasts a great line-up of vibrant teachers offering a wide variety of lessons as well as group classes.
All of our teachers are experienced musicians who are actively performing and recording while guiding budding musicians. Each teacher has their own unique way of drawing out the creative juices.
We do make fundamentals the anchor of all of our violin lessons but we also make sure we give the students time to actually apply it to the violin and learn about the fun of making music and playing violin
