Swing is a carefree and joyous dance that became popular in the 1940's. It is danced to up-tempo music from Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong and 50's style rock and roll, to bands playing in today's current Los Angeles swing dance scene.
Swing is a group of related street dances that evolved from Lindy Hop. Swing dance partners consist of a leader and a follower. There are three main forms of Swing: Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing and East Coast Swing.
Swing Dance Classes are offered by All 2 Dance for all ages and skill level. Teaching dance in a relaxed, friendly & professional environment. We are fortunate to have so many delightful students. This is a big part of why we love what we do.
Developed in the 1940s, the vivacious East Coast Swing is based upon the Lindy Hop. This rhythmic and adaptable dance can be performed with a partner or individually, socially, competitively, or even choreographed for performances.
