Fun energetic music! With its roots in Lindy Hop, the original swing dance, Swing has been around since the 1920’s, and has evolved with each decade’s popular music. It is also great for big band, rock n’ roll, and blues music. We teach several variations including Lindy Hop.
Ballroom smooth dances like Waltz and Tango. Ballroom Latin and Club Latin dances like Cha Cha, Salsa and Bachata. Swing dances like East Coast Swing, Lindy and West Coast Swing. And Club and Country Dances like Country Two-Step, Hustle and Nightclub Two-Step.

This class is an introduction to the look and feel of social swing dancing. This course is intended to provide instruction and repetition of the basic 6-count patterns that form the structure of this dance.
New to Swing dancing? Been to a few drop-in lessons around town and looking for more? This is the class for you! It’s designed as a 3-month series (taken in no particular order), each month-long session focusing on a slightly different aspect of what makes this dance so great.
Socially, it is considered good etiquette (particularly on a crowded floor) to use a fixed slot, in order to allow dancing without incident.
