The East Coast Swing is the perfect beginner's Swing dance, and will establish the basic swing tempo and movements. It doesn't require exceptional strength or flexibility like the acrobatic Lindy Hop, and therefore is suited to dancers of all ages and skill levels.
This high-spirited dance will have you skipping, rocking, and twisting the night away on the dance floor.
Studio 22 is by far the best dance studio in Dallas. Sergey & Michelle came highly recommended by Karina Smirnoff. Not only are they world-class dancers and instructors but they are world-class people. I highly recommend them and Studio 22 if you're looking for a place to learn to dance.
Whether east coast, west coast, or some Jitterbug, you will learn to swing the night away.
Want to enter a competition or just learn a few basic dance steps, it is our pleasure to help you become the kind of dancer you wish to be.

This class will explore the basics of west coast swing, touching on connection, rhythm, and the most crucial foundations of the dance. Great for beginners and returning dancers.
