DurationAs with any other dances we teach, At Star Dance School we provide you with structured and fun Swing classes that will also give you a great workout.
We always start the class with a warm up. This includes stretching, a brief review of what we taught in the previous class, and some basic figures and footwork you'll need for the rest of the class.
The review and the footwork will be the basis for the rest of the class. This means that if this is your first lesson, you'll be able to follow the rest of the class quite easily.
You will have to be patient - you won't become the greatest swing dancer in one lesson, but you will learn more each lesson you attend and eventually develop an excellent choreography and even your own style.
Swing is all about enegry, fun, and having a good time, so each swing lesson aims to keep your feet moving and your face smiling. Our talented, energetic, and friendly instructors will have you swing dancing in no time at all.

This class will explore the basics of west coast swing, touching on connection, rhythm, and the most crucial foundations of the dance. Great for beginners and returning dancers.
This class is an introduction to the look and feel of social swing dancing. This course is intended to provide instruction and repetition of the basic 6-count patterns that form the structure of this dance.
Learn the basic rhythms and movements of Lindy Hop, including 8 count and 6 count rhythms, swing out variations, and the history of this great dance. No dance experience required.
Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Salsa, Cha Cha, Merengue, Hustle, Swing, Samba, Quickstep & Bachata and/or Ballet, Tap & Jazz. are available at All 3 Dance for you.
