DurationTap dancing has made a comeback! Originating in the United States during the 19th century, Tap has now become popular all around the world. The name comes from the tapping sound made when the small metal plates on the dancer’s shoes touch a hard floor. This lively rhythmic tapping makes the performer not just a dancer but also a percussive musician.
Tap is a fun and lively way to develop a sense of rhythm and coordination. It blends ballet, jazz, and musical theatre techniques and is also an excellent form of cardiovascular exercise. At ConfiDance Studio, Tap classes are currently available to ages five through adult offered in beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

Dancers will develop their skills in Tap through terminology, rhythm and timing to create a piece that is both entertaining and exciting.
Tap dance classes are offered by Xklusive Dance Productions. We offer regularly scheduled classes to students aged 2-102 from Monday-Sunday
Classes are focused on introducing dancers to different disciplines: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Baton. An Acro – Mini class can be added to compliment the dancer’s training. Students are grouped according to age, ability, and previous training.
Tap is a high energy class where your feet get to help make the music! Tap class requires special shoes that have metal taps on the bottom to create sound. With a wide range of steps to learn, you can be sure your feet will get a workout.
