  • Janelle began her dance training at the age of five with the Dance Connection in North Battleford, Sask. Starting with the basics, ballet and jazz, she quickly developed a love for dance and performing. This love of dance lead her to a competitive level in ballet, jazz, tap, pointe, hip hop, lyrical, modern, musical theatre, and Ukrainian dance receiving numerous awards. Janelle is very honored and proud to have been the recipient of the Dance Saskatchewan Youth Ambassador Award twice. With wonderful training, at the Dance Connection, from Margaret Stephen and Virginia Ross-Winterhalt, Janelle’s credits include: RAD Advanced, C.D.T.A. Advanced Tap. Janelle is very fortunate to have trained with Mrs. Kelly of the Goh Ballet Company of Vancouver, B.C., Devin Jamieson of Los Angeles, Ca., Diane Gryba of North Battleford, Sask., as well as Serhij Koroliuk of the Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble and Vitali Sorokotiaguine of the Yevshan Ukrainian Folk Ballet Ensemble. Having attended workshops throughout Canada and the U.S., Janelle has gained a great appreciation of the diversity within the dance world. Miss Janelle is currently completing her final year of the Masters in Nursing degree at the U of S. Way to go Miss Janelle!
