The CSD Tap program is technically based on the ADAPT dance syllabus.

Steps tend to build on each other, therefore adding one or two simple movements to an existing step creates something new and challenging for students to master.
Part-Time and Full-Time competitive students may be invited to participate in an ADAPT Tap exam, at their teacher’s discretion.

We offer classes in a diverse range of disciplines to accommodate aspiring dancers of all interests.
Tap is a recommended class for all Elite & Unlock Unleash Control PDP students as it makes for a well-rounded & versatile dancer. Â Any student new to tap will be placed in the appropriate level at the discretion of the director.
Senior students have the chance to travel Tap Festivals held in key cities throughout North America to train with famous Tap Masters and perform for international audiences.Â
Broadway tap focuses more on the ‘dance’ and is widely performed as a part of musical theatre. Rhythm tap focuses more on musicality, and practitioners consider themselves to be a part of the jazz tradition.
Mastering this style of dance can help with coordination, rhythm, musicality and agility. Our CDTA classes are designed to suit your ability and are always enjoyable!
