Tap is examined internally at HSPA. Our tap classes always feature in our annual show.
Tap has evolved as an American dance form, popularised throughout the world, with debate about its origins coming from African & Irish dance
We follow the NZAMD American Tap syllabus and is suitable for ages 7 and up. Tap is great for rhythmical development consisting of barre work, center work, and set dances.
Made popular during the 20th Century, this appealing dance style still has its place in the modern world.
This class will introduce the kids to the genre of tap.
