Once your dancer starts tapping, they won’t want to stop! This style of dances put the dancer in control of the rhythm and beat. Classes are available for both recreational and competitive dancers ages 5+.

We will develop-well prepared young adults, should they so choose to pursue the arts professionally or are University bound.
Geared specifically to dancers 5 years to adult. The dance style where rhythmic patterns are sounded by the toes, heels and balls of the feet. Progressive rhythmic skills and syncopation styles are taught in a fun and energetic manner.Â
Using the Al Gilbert Syllabus on sound and rhythm combinations created through the feet using specially designed shoes with metal taps.
Our tappers step in time to the ADAPT syllabus with the option to also learn the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association (CDTA) syllabus to supplement their repertoire in the Pre-Professional program.
We believe in educating our students on the importance of being a team and building confidence in themselves and in their teammates.
Students are required to wear a body suit or fitted top with spandex shorts, leggings or pants that do not interfere with their feet. Students are required to wear black tap shoes with their hair in a pony tail or bun out of their face.
