This is a required class for all Chrome DC company members, and all other dancers who want to get serious are invited! Drop ins welcome.
Chrome Dance Centre is Durham Region's most inspirational competitive & recreational Dance Centre. We offer classes for all ages and levels in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acro, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and more!
Our competition classes are divided up into teams depending on age and tryout results. We offer various styles of competition dances that compete in local competitions and have also recently traveled to California and Halifax.
All classes are choreo based, meaning you will be learning a short routine in each class. Routines are changing weekly so, if we’re teaching a routine to your jam, getcha’ ass up and come #SweatWithUs. Classes ranging from into/beginner levelled to industry professional/advanced.
We have put forth a dance program called “The Dream Team” where children and adults with exceptionalities find their own dance language.
Poms is a great class for students to enhance their performance and technique. This class is designed to work on synchronization, clean and precise motions, strong pom technique; as well as visual effects including level changes, formation chagnes and the us of pom poms.
Learning choreography (spin and static) including combos and floorwork. Prerequisite: inter 3
