Contemporary dance incorporates strong leg work with emphasis on the use of the upper body.
Lyrical and Contemporary Dance is a newer style of dance that blends Ballet, Jazz, and Modern dance together. Contemporary explores creative movement often inspired by the music, slower tempos, and emotion of the choreography.
Fused by the strength, technique and grace of ballet, jazz and modern, contemporary requires versatility and skill through expressive interpretation.
