We offer music classes, choir, and keyboard for students over 7, as well as the opportunity to participate in a number of ensembles and orchestras. We also offer music awareness classes for 5 – 6 year-olds.
Classes are held in the East Block of Southland Girls' High School, Tweed Street, Invercargill.

The French horn comes from the French hunting horn of the 1600s, and produces a wide variety of sounds ranging from very loud to very soft, and from harsh and blaring to mellow and smooth.
Students will need to be the height of an average intermediate-aged child.
