My name is Zohar Cohen. I have been a Pastry Chef since 2009.
Ever since I remember myself I loved to bake. I started to bake and sell cakes in High School when I was 16. The change in my life happened after I gave birth to my oldest daughter in 2009 and I realized that baking was my life's ambition.
I went to the Israeli Institute of Culinary Arts and became a professional Pastry Chef. In the past few years, I've been doing Baking Workshops for both kids and adults. I love my job and love to see how adults and kids succeed in creating amazing desserts and learn more about making beautiful and tasty desserts with no previous experience.
I will be happy to pass my knowledge on to you.
Students will pipe and bake cream puffs & eclairs during class. We will then make whipped cream, pastry cream, chocolate mousse and lemon curd for fillings. Students will take home their creations along with the recipes.
Bread Making class is offered by Ayesha's Kitchen. Ayesha's Kitchen offers so much more than just the know-how of how to put together a delicious Indian meal, it takes you on a mystical journey through the legacy of authentic Indian traditional cuisine

Decadent Chocolate Desserts class is offered by The Asheville Kitchen. We hope you will bring your bubble of friends & families! Come have fun! In-person classes will be limited to 4 to 6 students. It is up to you to gather the 4-6 students you wish to take a class with.
In this 3-hour class, students will learn how to prepare a cake for amazing decorating: layering, icing a cake smooth, coloring icing and basic/intermediate piping techniques. This is a great beginner's level class!
