DurationIntroduces young children, ages two through five, to the basics of dance in a motivational class structure which highlights movement, musical awareness and self expression. The thoughtfully structured classes use dramatic play and music, in conjunction with exercises and various props.

The Dance Academy is thrilled to be embarking on our thirteeth season of dance in St. John’s. The Dance Academy was established in 2009 with the vision of providing quality dance instruction where students can learn the art of dance while enhancing social skills and self esteem.
We strive to provide every child with movement experiences which are meaningful and enjoyable, while enhancing motor skill development, social skills and an overall focus on an active, healthy lifestyle.
This structured ballet class is for young students just beginning in ballet. Same level as Ballet Basic 2.
Just as the toddler stage passes, this class is specifically designed for the milestone of 3 year olds.
Ballet Course is Offered by Performance School of Music and Dance.
All adult ballet participants train at the barre and in the centre, executing a series of classical ballet exercises designed to develop coordination, strength, proper posture, and musicality.
Once students enter grade 1 at school they proceed into 45 minute to 60 minute classes. More focus is placed on proper technique and execution. We continue to maintain age appropriate music and movement for all age levels.
