Here at Star Spirit, we will provide an outstanding and enriching experience for all our students and their families. Our incredible instructors are wonderful with children and safety-certified for the best experience for you and your child. We offer tumbling classes for athletes, ages 4 and up.
We are often told just how much we positively impact the lives of all of our members. While we’re serious about training athletes, our approach conditions the mind and the body in a way that helps kids achieve in the classroom, in sports, and in life. After all, we’ve realized that’s what it’s all about – teaching kids how to gain strength of mind and body to be successful in any discipline they apply themselves to!
In a world filled with constant distraction, video games, texting and a host of other less than healthy ways for kids to invest their time, we provide a wonderful solution.
At Star Spirit we believe that our gym is a tool for influencing kids’ lives in a positive way. We offer an array of programs including Competitive Cheerleading & Dance, Academy Cheer, Dance, Tumbling & Aerial and our Little Sparks Tiny Programme.
We offer a ‘pay as you go’ class for those who are interested in a more relaxed class structure. This class allows gymnasts of any ability, be it beginner or experienced, to attend and use our facilities under the supervision of our qualified coaches.
We teach the children all the basics of gymnastics, how to do balances and partner balances, forward & backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, basic positions and fundamental movements.
Your child will be encouraged to explore and develop the basic motor skills in a fun environment. These classes we use the whole of our first floor gym, which has sprung, soft surfaces and numerous safety landing areas.
These classes are suitable for boys and girls of all abilities from age 5. The gymnasts learn basic gymnastics skills on all apparatus. The classes take place in Forresters High School Sports Hub on Saturdays.
