Ukulele is great for kids and musical beginners, as it’s lightweight and has only 4 strings to learn (instead of the 6 on a guitar). Because of the tuning on a uke you can learn chords quickly.

Our ukulele lessons are similar to our guitar lessons. Students learn the parts of the instrument, strumming, and fingerstyle. They learn how to read music with standard notation and tablature (tab), a form of notation that shows where the notes are played on the instrument itself
Ukulele Lessons are offered by Desert Ridge Music Academy. We emphasize the importance of reading music. Most students will learn the fundamentals of reading and understanding the language of music.
