Our History
Join us in the Mackin House kitchen to learn how to make a variety of cheeses. Sample some with crackers during class and bring some home (bring a container with you to the class).
Will learn how to make Authentic homemade butter and French traditional Boursin cheese. In this hands on workshop the students will measure ingredients and actively make butter the traditional way and incorporate it in the cheese making process.
It includes: a hands-on cheesemaking session with our cheesemaker ihtreuer, A facility & ageing room tour Refreshments will be provided and participants will receive a selection of Lakeside Farmstead Cheese.
In this class you learn how to make a variety of “fauxmages”, including aged ones, sprinkles, feta-style and our favourite creamy spreads.
This day long experience includes a farm tour, making cheese as well as an introduction to pairing cheese with beverages.
