The students will also learn how to construct joints and build a project using the tools. Students must supply their own project materials.

This course focuses on the development of knowledge and skills related to cabinetmaking and furniture making through various hands-on projects. Students will gain a basic understanding of concepts used in custom woodworking such as shop and machine safety
You will learn the fundamentals of producing quality furniture, cabinets and architectural millwork. This program also incorporates a co-op term where you will gain experience putting your skills to the test in a real world production facility or shop. Â
Explore woodworking in a welcoming woodshop environment through this introductory course. During this program, you'll acquire the skills needed to operate both hand and power tools while crafting a practical, small woodworking project.
The Woodworking program combines hands-on work with creativity. Students develop the skills and knowledge to undertake a number of woodworking projects, including furniture building, cabinet construction and more.
