Provide the candidate with the knowledge and various practical skills involved in manual handling. Demonstrate the practices of manual handling and lifting as described in the Approved Code of Practice for Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended).

Designed for all types of industrial needs, the BA Wearers’ Course is 25% theory and 75% practical. All of BHB’s staff are qualified breathing apparatus instructors and service engineers. Medical checklists, individual assessments and physical exercises will, be carried out on the course.

This EMAS approved course will equip those who wish to become First Aiders, or lapsed First Aiders, in all the essential aspects of occupational First Aid.

This one day course, aimed at those who will be required to manage emergency situations, covers the Incident Management System (IMS) which is the organisational mechanism used in an emergency scene.

This course provides top quality Hot Fire, Breathing Apparatus, Chemical Spill, Fire Training in a variety of realistic situations. Teams will learn all the correct procedures for all incidents that may confront them back on site. It is suitable for new ERT members from all sectors of industry.
