Why we established C4 Group
From a background of Policing and Nursing, C4 Group’s founders Chris Lawton and Kathy Wright both had a passion for teaching as it gave them the ability to support others to improve their lives.
This common goal saw the birth of C4 Group in 2011 and together they have worked hard to surround themselves with a team of like-minded instructors, administrators and management who share their values and their vision.
Never losing focus on the people at the core of their business – the learners – their seemingly endless energy and commitment to training sees new courses being developed on a regular basis to meet the needs of their focus industries. They both agree that it is a wonderful life when you are able to serve your community to be a better version of themselves.

This course is designed for individuals who have completed CIMS training in the past and aims to provide them with the latest information on changes to New Zealand’s emergency response system and the new CIMS 3.

Emergency Management training is an important tool in the development of resilient communities and how we as a society respond to emergencies and disasters. Being well-trained, competent and confident when something big happens allows us to respond in a structured and calm manner knowing.
This course is designed to prepare staff to manage conflict situations in a safe and professional manner. Conflict situations can easily arise with unhappy customers, clients, or patrons. Providing your staff with an awareness of what the triggers and signs are, de-escalation techniques.
Our course is designed for those holding a position within an organisation that has responsibilities in the event of an emergency and/or an evacuation. and covers the requirements of the role, legislation, managing an evacuation and interaction with emergency services.
