Calcosa Aviation Training: Since being established in 1998, Calcosa has tripled the size of its training and charter operation at Johannesburg’s Rand Airport as a result of its commitment to providing the highest level of expertise and convenience in pilot and cabin crew training.

An ex SACAA Chief Flying Inspector with over 32 years of aviation experience as Pilot, Inspector and Grade 1 Instructor is on hand to impart knowledge to trainee pilots and crew.

Calcosa also runs various aviation safety and operations based lectures. Run throughout the year, these one day seminars cover a range of subjects, examples include: How to fly the PA30, WX Flying, Flight Planning for the recreational Private Pilot and How to calculate FDP correctly.

In addition to our flight training services, Calcosa has two fully stocked Pilot Shops and offers accommodation, meals, laundry and transport to full-time aviation students.
