The Cape School of Floristry was founded in 2001 by Gerda Tuffin in response to repeated requests for flower arranging tuition. In 1983 Gerda attended the Constantia School of Floristry with Joan Pare and in 1988 she graduated from Stellenbosch University with a B. Sc. Agric. degree in Horticulture.
This course is designed for the absolute beginner as well as the more experienced florist. It is a challenging course which covers a wide variety of techniques and designs that are popularly used in floristry, but are also useful to the hobbyist and homemaker.
