Welcome to the East Midlands Congenital Heart Network
Caring for Children and Adults across the East Midlands region
Our Level 1 Specialist Centre located at the University Hospital of Leicester, hosts a dedicated centre of care which delivers a streamlined pathway approach. Supplemented by ten Level 3 centres across the region, we are able to deliver lifelong care closer to home.
East Midlands Congenital Heart Network works to bring clinical teams, managers, commissioners and patient/family representatives from across the region together to support patients of all ages with a congenital heart condition, and their families/carers.
The East Midlands Congenital Heart Network role and function is to enable and support a collaborative and seamless approach to congenital heart disease patient care across the East Midlands, ensuring that the services delivered are of a high quality and the provision of care is equitable across the Network.
