Cik Dayang has indirectly been involved in the field of baking for over 10 years. Ask her about any cake or cookie, and she can probably guess the ingredients they used.
Her interest in baking started when she was young, while she was still in school. She enjoyed assisting her mother in selling cookies, cakes, and desserts.
During her university days, Cik Dayang seized the opportunity during semester breaks to sell cakes and take cake orders. She was also invited to teach baking skills at community colleges, vocational colleges, and hands-on classes that she organized herself.
Besides coming up with her own creative ideas, she also draws inspiration from abroad and adapts recipes to make them more unique.
Furthermore, she often takes traditional recipes as a source of inspiration, adapting them to contemporary tastes and trends.
In the past, she has been actively involved in business at morning markets, night markets, food expos, Village Entrepreneur Carnivals (Karnival Usahawan Desa or KUD), and Farmer's Day expos.
She even sold her products at a market in Cambodia, Pendang. The best-selling item at that time was the Honeycomb Bread, with daily sales reaching 20kg.
Cik Dayang also frequently participates in bakery and baking classes to further enhance her knowledge, skills, and recipe techniques.
