Financial Training Solutions was founded by Tim Davies and Colin Froneman. Level I CFA® Program training at FTS is conducted by Tim Davies, CFA. Tim also lectures five Level II topics. Tim has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, is a Certified Associate of the Institute of Bankers (CAIB SA), and is a CFA charterholder.
Tim is the co-founder and a partner of Financial Training Solutions in Johannesburg, where he conducts financial training and CFA Program courses. Apart from academia, he has experience in banking, stockbroking and portfolio management with leading global financial institutions. Tim’s previous experience includes working as Private Client Portfolio Manager for Merrill Lynch and Sanlam Private Investments.
The CFA Program, administered by CFA Institute, sets the global standard for investment industry knowledge and ethical behaviour. CFA Institute determines the curriculum, administers the exam, and awards the charter.
