In England and Wales, if you’re an employer, owner, landlord or occupier of business or other non-domestic premises, you’re responsible for fire safety and are known as the ‘responsible person’. All employers are required to ensure employees are aware of Fire Precautions at their place of work.
This course covers everything you need to know about your role and responsibilities as a Fire Marshall. In larger premises the appointment of Fire Marshals may be necessar who in the event of a fire can tackle a small fire using the appropriate extinguisher if it is safe to do so.
