Houston Korean Education Center

Our Education Center is established and operated by the Korean government to support educational activities related to the Korean language, Korean history, and Korean culture for overseas Koreans in five states of the southwestern (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi).

In addition, we are doing business such as offering Korean language classes to regular schools to promote Korea, recruiting GKS, attracting international students and EPIK teachers, supporting educational exchanges between Korea and the U.S. and hosting the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).

We hope that such education for overseas Koreans, the spread of the Korean language and culture and educational exchanges will further accelerate the cultivation of competitive human resources and mutual understanding between the two countries.
