Hypnotherapy Training Qualifications Awarding Bodies & Governing Bodies 

The SCCP maintains, hypnotherapy and hypnotherapy training needs to be an integrated eclectic therapeutic intervention, enhanced with Solution Focused Therapy, NLP, EFT, CBT, Psychoanalysis & Ericksonian techniques, to be used within a framework of Person Centred Therapy.  

We believe the client is the main focus regarding the presenting issues to be addressed. 

This eclectic mix of hypnotherapy training & clinical experience is unique to the SCCP, enabling the SCCP to offer an Advanced Diploma in Brief Strategic Hypnotherapy.  

SCCP hypnotherapy training is accredited by the National Council of Hypnotherapists, NCH, The Hypnotherapy Association, HA & The National Society of Psychotherapists, NSPsy, complying with CNHC registration requirements. 

Please note: 

The Surrey College of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy is not part of The University of Surrey. We are fortunate enough to be able to hire training facilities at the University of Surrey to run our courses. 

The Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma, HPD, is awarded through the NCH by the NCFE, who award to NVQ4, this is a vocational award. 

The Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma is accredited by the NCH, HA & NSPsy, offering six qualifications. 

The Psychotherapy Diploma is accredited by the National Society of Psychotherapists, NSPsy. 

Hypnotherapy is a proactive therapy, our courses are designed to be practical and practised to build confidence into the graduate. 

Confidence comes from doing not just reading, this is not a theory based course.
