This biennial World Congress of the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA) will be organised in 2024 by The British Endodontic Society (BES) with Glasgow, Scotland, as the host city.
The Society is very excited to have the opportunity to host this prestigious Congress and aims to attract endodontists, other dental specialists, general dental practitioners and students from Europe and around the World. In delivering a contemporary programme we aim to leave a legacy of endodontic advancement going forwards.
Glasgow is a wonderful place to visit. It is a vibrant friendly city, packed with history and plenty to offer, both culturally and socially. The surrounding area is, of course, famous for its’ scenery, golf courses and whisky tours! It also has an international airport with connections across the UK and the world.
The Conference will take place over three days, Thursday to Saturday, with a day on Wednesday for pre-congress activities. We anticipate that over 3000 delegates will attend the conference.
The venue will be the Scottish Event Campus, a modern multi-purpose event centre, close to the city next to the River Clyde. The Exhibition Area for the Congress is located at ground floor level with the Meeting Rooms above. All Congress catering will be in the Exhibition Area.
The Society is also planning a busy social programme for attendees at the Congress, on the Wednesday evening will be a Drinks Reception at the Glasgow Science Centre, hosted by the City of Glasgow, on the Thursday evening will be a Dinner and traditional Scottish Dancing (Ceilidh) and on the Friday evening a Formal Dinner at the Kelvingrove Museum.
The BES is inviting your company to be a part of what we hope will be an extremely well-attended and important legacy generating event. There are many ways you can participate, and we are excited to outline these in the following document.
The aim of this workshop is to update participants on the management of traumatic dental injuries and includes a hands on element on splinting teeth.
