Keane Fire And Safety

In 1947, Bob Keane started Keane Fire & Safety in the basement of his home. Bob, pictured on the right, was a pioneer in fire prevention, and a former Boston firefighter and Fire Marshal at the Watertown Arsenal.

He wanted to make sure neighborhood businesses could afford essential fire safety protection and built the business on that principle. After Bob passed his wife Betty took over the business.

Betty stayed true to Bob’s vision to deliver the best available products and highest quality service at competitive prices, a vision that still drives our company today.
