Lingua Franca Translation Pty Ltd and Lingua Translation PTY are professional interpretation and translation companies founded by Director Yasmin Fechner. Yasmin is an interpreter and translator. She is a member of AUSIT and SATI. Yasmin is a PH.D. candidate in translation and interpretation at Witwatersrand university.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Interpreting and Translation. Her experience includes studying and working as a professional for over 10 years in the United Nations, African Union, Pan African Parliament, Ministry of Defence, Embassies, Consulates, and Diplomatic Missions, Universities, Cultural Centres and Private Military Companies.

Lingua Franca Translation Pty Ltd and Lingua Translation are formed by a highly qualified team of translators, legal translators and interpreters in all languages. The team holds Master Degrees in interpreting, translation, proofreading and glossaries. They are native speakers in each pair. They have been recruited through their working careers in the above institutions and form the basis of the translation work in all languages.

Lingua Franca Translation and Lingua Translation currently enjoy contracts with multinational/multilingual organizations such as the United Nations, the UNDP, FIFA, Equality Now, LEGO, Sesame Street, Pan African Parliament, South African Parliament, and many others.

We ensure that each brand has a unique voice and that terminology remains consistent among projects by building glossaries for specific organizations and their unique discourses.
