The final component of our programs is an externship in a realistic environment where our students can apply the theoretical and practical skills they gained during their studies.
The Institute has developed agreements with several restaurants, hotels, country clubs, resorts and casinos in order to offer each student a personal experience based on their career goals in Miami, other states in US and abroad.
This program includes hands-on teaching of techniques such as different pastry dough elaborations, basic pastry creams, basic cake production and bread production.
Students are introduced to various cooking and baking techniques and the qualitative aspects of food preparation, including sanitation, identification of products, purchasing, and cost control.
