Nails and Training Academy Glasgow

Nova Nails Glasgow was born by me. The owner and senior nail tech of 6 years Jaki. I started my nail career in 2016 from my living room taking over it on evenings and weekends while working full time in finance taking this opportunity to gain experience and a reputation.

I took a plunge to quit my job and go full time as a nail technician in 2018 and never looked back. Since then Nova Nails Glasgow has grown into a bustling and busy nail salon who have built a great reputation in Glasgow.

In 2020 Nova Nails took another risk during the global Covid-19 pandemic and are proud to now have our very own nail salon in the heart of Glasgow city centre.

During lockdown I also used the spare time to expand my qualifications and has now gained A Level 3 award in education allowing me to training and qualify others in nail treatments. In April 2021 Nova Nails Training Academy doors open to provide accredited training to other budding nail technicians.

Nova Nails Glasgow have also now developed their own range of nail care focusing on cuticle oils, that hydrate and repair damaged skin and nails. Our brand Nova Nails Essentials are focused on providing fun nail care that smells amazing and shows results fast encouraging you to want to use it more!

Our oils have been chemically assessed and approved by the UK portal of cosmetics and are also safety assessed. You can purchase them from our shop page here or pick up one in salon.

Nova Nails Glasgow are also one of the only nail bars in the city to offer a full range of vegan and cruelty free treatment options across our menu. We offer you a service that’s first class, professional and friendly all while using the highest quality products. We pride ourselves in our warm and welcoming atmosphere.
