About National Wellbeing
With you in mind...
At National Wellbeing, we pride ourselves on offering a holistic approach to safety training for workplaces, schools and community groups. We collect research and direct our focus at the intersection of where Health & Safety and workplace/community wellbeing meet.
Our Instructors and Wellbeing Coaches have occupational experience of working within the NHS – from Hospital and Ambulance Service, right through to Mental Health Services.
Our face to face courses can be delivered at your workplace or chosen venue, or you may wish to join one of our open courses.
Another option may be to take advantage of our ‘blended learning’ options – this is an ideal mixture of online and face to face training. An example of this would be a typical three day First Aid at Work, or two day Paediatric First Aid course can be taken face to face over two days (First Aid at Work) or one day (Paediatric First Aid), with an online learning element which can be completed at your own pace prior to the face to face element.
One of our most popular training categories is our Workplace Wellbeing Advocate Programme. This unique course includes certificates and qualifications in Physical First Aid, Mental Health Awareness, Manual handling and Mindfulness.
Having a certified National Wellbeing Advocate in your workplace aims to reduce sick days, identify and signpost those who are experiencing mental health issues; as well as knowing how to respond correctly in a First Aid emergency, offer support and guidance on correct posture techniques when using equipment, sitting at a desk or performing repetitive tasks – as well as much more!
Of course, some of our clients just choose to take one or two courses rather than invest in one of our Wellbeing Programmes – this is absolutely fine! Please feel free to contact us today to see how we can work together to stay safe in the workplace and/or community.
National Wellbeing's Manual Handling & Correct Posture certification offers learners the chance to gain valuable skills and knowledge in safe practices of safe moving and handling of objects; as well as the use of safe posture when using Display Screen Equipment (DSE).
Our Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification delivered by National Wellbeing. It is ideal for those designated as workplace first aiders. It's also a valuable asset for volunteers and individuals in the community who may need to treat medical c...
